For years I told myself “when I retire from my day job, I’ll just go around tuning people’s piano” but recently I realized that I don’t have to wait until I retire. I can start that journey now!

Since Aug 2025, I’ve been maintaining and tuning pianos for friends and family, at a middle school, SDSU, and take pride in leaving something behind in better shape than it was when I arrived. I know that a piano in good shape can dramatically improve the expression of the pianist as well as increase the enjoyment of the instrument.

Yes, I still have a day job as a Software Engineer, but I’ve dedicated time and resources into piano technology and really want to see where it takes me next.
